AHI Life change watcher
AHI-Life-Watcher is the automated reader behind AHI Life's record of Canadian immigration program changes, run by Align Horizons Inc., Alberta, Canada.
What it reads
- Official public pages about immigration programs: the Government of Canada (IRCC, ESDC) and provincial and territorial immigration programs, plus their official news pages and feeds.
- Only pages on a fixed, reviewed list. It does not follow links across a site, submit forms, sign in, or read anything behind a login.
How often
Once a day, around 04:00 Mountain Time, one page at a time with a pause between requests. Each run reads each listed page once.
Why
To notice when an official page about an immigration program changes, so the change can be recorded with its date and a link back to the official source. The official page is always cited as the authority.
How it identifies itself
- User agent:
AHI-Life-Watcher/1.0 (+https://ready.ahilife.ca/watcher; immigration change monitor) - Every request is signed with HTTP Message Signatures (Web Bot Auth, Ed25519). The signing agent is
https://ready.ahilife.ca; its public key directory is at/.well-known/http-message-signatures-directory.
Rules it follows
- It reads and obeys
robots.txton every run (RFC 9309). A page that robots.txt disallows is not read. - It never tries to get past a bot check, CAPTCHA or access control. Sites that block automated readers are not read automatically; a person at AHI opens those pages in an ordinary browser instead.
- It does not use proxies or rotate addresses or identities.
Contact or opt out
To ask a question, change how often the watcher visits, or have it stop: email report@ahilife.ca, or add a User-agent: AHI-Life-Watcher group to your robots.txt; it takes effect on the next run.
