Every source, and its status

Each official source behind AHI Life, read live from the server - never typed in. First each data source against its own publishing rhythm, then every official page we read, grouped by government, with when we last read it and what came of it. Anything not on time is shown in red.

Data sources

Each one read from the source every day: what we found, its newest item, and whether that is as recent as its own publishing history says it should be. "Nothing new" is a result too.

Official pages we read

Every page on our watch list, like a departures board: on time, delayed, couldn't read, or moved. Read daily by software. Where a page cannot be read, its row gives you the direct source to open yourself and, where one exists, an indirect source (an archived copy). We try every page again on our schedule, and a page goes back to normal the moment it can be read.

Where we use an indirect source, and why

We go to the official source directly. When we cannot - the page is gone, the site blocks automated readers, or the province does not publish the detail - we use the most reliable copy there is, say exactly what it is and why, and look again every day for the direct source. When it appears, the rows move to it.

How the checks run

We can make mistakes. We check every source daily and correct what we find. Always confirm with the official source before you act. Backups say only whether one was made in the last two days; when and where they are kept is not published.
