PROTECT YOURSELF FROM GHOST CONSULTANTS - In Canada, only a licensed representative may charge you for immigration advice or representation: an RCIC licensed by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC), a Canadian lawyer in good standing with a law society, or a Québec notary. Verify any licence yourself on the CICC Public Register before you pay anyone. Unlicensed “ghost” consultants operate illegally - they refuse to sign your forms, keep their name off your application, take your money and disappear, and their work can end in refusal or a ban. No licence number you can verify? Do not pay. This page is general information only - it is not immigration advice.

What this is, and how to use it

Most people come to this page with one question: Can I come — or can I stay?

This page cannot answer that question, and it does not provide legal advice. Instead, it shows which of Canada’s 135 immigration routes may remain open based on your answers - and what each route requires. It is a picture, not a verdict.

IRCC does not require you to hire a representative, and many people apply on their own. If your situation is complicated, only a licensed practitioner can advise you on your case.

There are two parts: your pathways, then your readiness (your money and your life in Canada). As you answer, Canada’s 135 immigration routes narrow to those that may remain open to you, while the pictures below gradually come into focus.

Your picture (money, timeline, Express Entry) builds here after a few answers.

What this page is all about

This page cannot tell you whether you can stay, and it does not give legal advice. It shows which of Canada’s 135 immigration routes may remain open based on your answers, and what each one requires - a picture, not a verdict. Everything computes on your own device. IRCC does not require you to hire a representative; if your situation is complicated, only a licensed practitioner can advise on your case.

Method

Every route, requirement and figure on this page comes from an official published source - IRCC and provincial program pages, published ministerial instructions, and Employment and Social Development Canada’s public LMIA records. Each fact is collected and human-verified against its source before it enters the page, and the build refuses to publish if its own checks fail. The page then computes entirely on your device - the same answers always produce the same picture.

Route data reviewed 2026-08-29 · 135 routes, count verified 2026-09-27 04:52 MDT (19 closed or replaced programs are no longer counted; latest official change 2026-08-31) · LMIA records 2025Q1-2025Q4. This is when the file was last reviewed - not proof the rules have not changed since. Confirm anything that matters against IRCC or a licensed representative.

Legal

Data

Your questionnaire answers - and anything you type - are worked on in your browser and are not sent to us as you answer. A few things leave only for something you ask for, such as the occupation code for an occupation-list lookup or the pathway of a report you open; the privacy policy lists each one. To operate, improve and commercialize the platform, we measure limited product usage: pages opened, options chosen, features used. These usage events are analyzed and reported in aggregate, and optional measurement stays off until you allow it under Privacy choices below. Like any website, the systems that deliver and protect these pages may temporarily process technical details - IP addresses, device information, request logs - as part of hosting and security. What you see on this page are counts, shapes and public data - never an assessment.

Terms

This site provides general information and self-serve tools. It is not legal advice, and using it does not create a consultant-client relationship - only a signed service agreement does.

Content and tools are provided as they are. Immigration rules change without notice; confirm anything that matters with IRCC or a licensed practitioner. You remain responsible for your own decisions, and to the extent the law allows, Align Horizons Inc. is not liable for losses arising from reliance on this site.

The content and tools on this site belong to Align Horizons Inc. and are for your personal, non-commercial use.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable in it. We may update them; this version is dated 2026-09-06.

Privacy

We process information in four categories. Necessary: delivering these pages, security and rate-limiting - the systems that host and protect the service may temporarily process IP addresses, device information and request logs to do their job; this is required to provide what you asked for. Preferences: optional settings, like the appearance; once you pick one it is kept in your browser and in one small cookie the ahilife.ca sites share (that one word only). Analytics (optional): counts of pages opened, options chosen and features used, to operate, improve and commercialize the platform; these usage events are analyzed and reported in aggregate, and stay off until you allow them under Privacy choices. Marketing: not used - no advertising, no profiling, no cross-site tracking.

Your answers: your questionnaire answers, free-text entries and custom personal information are worked on in your browser and are not sent to us as you answer. What does leave, and only for something you ask for, is listed in the privacy policy. If you email us, we receive your address and message and use them only to respond; we do not add you to lists, and we never sell or share your information.

Providers and retention: pages are delivered by our hosting provider, whose systems process technical logs to serve and protect the site; we use no third-party analytics or advertising services. Usage counters are kept as running totals, with day-by-day detail kept 120 days. Aggregate insights - never about an identifiable person - may inform our paid products and reports.

Your rights under PIPEDA: ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and withdraw consent at any time - through Privacy choices below, or by writing to info@ahilife.ca, our designated privacy contact. This policy is dated 2026-09-06.

Choices

Necessary - always on: delivery, security, rate-limiting.
Preferences - your appearance choice, kept in your browser and one small cookie.
Analytics - optional usage measurement, off until you allow it. Currently: off. Changing it here sends nothing. (The first-visit banner tallies its answer once, anonymously: allow or decline, nothing else.)
Marketing - not used; nothing to configure.

 ·

Change this whenever you like - the choice is stored in your own browser. This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies; the few it does set (your appearance choice, sign-ins, invitation access) are listed in the privacy policy.

Requests

Under PIPEDA you may ask what information we hold about you, have it corrected, or withdraw consent. Make a privacy request - a human answers, and there is no charge.

Organization

About

Align Horizons Inc. is a licensed Canadian immigration consultancy helping immigrants, students, workers - and the employers who hire them - make clear, well-grounded decisions about coming to, and staying in, Canada. It is led by Manuel Iligan, a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC R530893) licensed by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants - you can verify the licence on the College’s public register. We combine a licensed practitioner’s judgment with instruments we build ourselves - pages like this one, which show you the whole picture before a single dollar is spent. Our work is guided by three rules: facts over promises, privacy by design, and honesty about what a tool can and cannot tell you. Based in Alberta, serving clients across Canada and around the world.

Licence

In Canada, immigration advice for a fee may only be given by a licensed practitioner. Our services are provided under the licence of Manuel Iligan, RCIC R530893, regulated by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants - the federal regulator. Don’t take our word for it: open the College’s Public Register and search the licence number yourself. A licence you cannot verify is a licence you should not trust.

Team

Align Horizons is led by Manuel Iligan, RCIC (R530893), who works each file personally - the tools on this site are built to prepare that conversation, not to replace it. As the team grows, you will meet them here.

FAQ

Is this legal advice? No. The page shows a picture built from your answers and public facts - it never decides your case. Advice comes from a licensed practitioner who has heard your whole story.

Do you store my answers? No. They are kept in your own browser so you can pick up where you left off within 14 days (older saved answers are erased the next time you open this page), and are not sent to us as you answer; starting fresh, or clearing this site's data, removes them at once. The few things that do leave, each only for something you ask for, are listed in the privacy policy.

How current is this information? The sources and review dates are published under “Sources and last updated” above and in the attestation at the bottom of the page. Rules change without notice - confirm anything that matters with IRCC or a licensed representative.
