Can I change the sex or gender identifier on my IRCC documents?
IRCC offers three identifiers: F (female), M (male) and X (another gender). You do not need to be a Canadian citizen to change yours, and IRCC does not require supporting documents from the authority that issued your other documents. A few questions find IRCC's process for your document.
